I have had absolutely no problems with the GTX 1050 so far - but I could imagine that your power supply is a bit 'weak' and the graphics card reacts to a voltage drop. I would check with Gigabyte.com.

A very large performance gain is not to be expected. The two graphics cards are too close to each other in terms of performance. So it's more likely to be a GTX 1060 or an RX 580 from AMD. For example, the following product: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 OC WindForce 2X (6GB, Midrange) For the above mentioned GTX 1060 a PCIe 6-PIN power connector from the power supply is required. Please check. Tip: Google: Benchmark GTX 760 vs graphics card of your choice

Hello Rastamike I use this card exclusively for gaming. However, this graphics card can render 4K resolution very well. However, you won't set any speed records when rendering :)

Hello Saendu The graphics card will allow you to run virtually all games with decent graphics settings. The next performance bottleneck will probably be the 8GB of RAM. If you are still at the limit after the upgrade, I would recommend expanding it to 16GB. You have already measured whether the graphics card fits in your case, haven't you?

Yes, this should all work without any problems. Make sure you have installed the latest BIOS version for the mainboard (1306): https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H77M/HelpDesk_BIOS/

Yes, no problem. No, you don't need 6GB for image editing (not even 4GB).

Not according to Nvidia. I can't recommend it for VR as it is. The GTX 1050Ti simply has too little power. If you're interested in VR, I'd recommend at least a GTX 1070, but even then the power is rather scarce.

On 1080i/p it should be possible. Just Cause 3 is unfortunately pretty poorly optimised for PC, but a benchmark over a year ago averaged 55fps: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_1050_Ti_Gaming_X/19.html Also, there have been a few updates since then: http://justcause.wikia.com/wiki/Just_Cause_3_Patch_history So it should be enough to play it.

All information is without guarantee. If you order by credit card on Friday until 5 pm and the card is in stock, it is quite possible that it will be delivered on Saturday. Once I explicitly said please no Saturday delivery and it was delivered on Saturday after all ;-) About the card: I can absolutely recommend it!
