We have the 0.5 meter version, it has a different manufacturer number but it is compatible with the Epix 2: Garmin Charging Cable

The watch is reliable. Many different measurements. Main problem: two memory sizes, the smaller one is cheaper but clearly TOO SMALL. So buy the larger version.
The best thing to do is to contact the customer service, no one here will be able to help you.
I don't have any experience with battery replacement, but I read that it is possible.
When I see how many Fenix 3s my colleagues are still using, I would assume that the batteries will last a very long time, as they don't have to be charged every day.

Yes it is Gen 2 according to our supplier :)
I can't answer that. But the Epix 2 is robust enough for everyday sports - and I'm not hammering nails with it.

Yes, exactly, with Sapphire glass and 32 GB memory. It works perfectly and looks great with the titanium strap from Garmin.

Yes definitely. The Epix 1 was square and yet a few years ago. I can only recommend this watch.
Garmin makes the following specifications:
Smartwatch: Up to 16 days (6 days in always-on mode).
- Energy-saving mode: Up to 21 days
- GPS only: Up to 42 hours (30 hours in always-on mode)
- All satellite systems: Up to 32 hours (24 hours in Always-On mode)
- All satellite systems + multi-band: Up to 20 hours (15 hours in always-on mode) (Sapphire models only)
- All satellite systems + music: Up to 10 hours (9 hours in always-on mode)
GPS mode: Up to 75 hours
- Expedition mode: Up to 14 days
For a narrower wrist, e.g. also for women, I find the Epix 2 as well as the Fenix 7 too big. The Epix comes in one size, while the Fenix comes in different sizes. If a good resolution is important to you, then I recommend the Epix. But the runtime is shorter (16 days without recharging).

Yes, that also happened to me and I was also surprised that the delivery time was delayed so much. When I put the watch in my shopping cart, the delivery time was given as 5-6 days. Now the delivery has been postponed to "expected at the beginning of May".
Too bad Digitec - maybe you should revise the contracts with your distributors and manufacturers and regulate the delivery times better! And also communicate accordingly to us customers.
The watch is paid for and now I'm waiting :-( I could have done something else with the money until May. And apart from an automatically generated apology e-mail, there is certainly nothing from Digitec... Very very annoying! A goodie would be the least I could do...
