Well, I have Garmin Edge 1040 Solar, just seems to take its time out in between, then you can't turn it on, nothing works anymore, quite tedious the part. A clear blow over the edge may help.

What kind of maps are included for this? The only mention is "worldwide"... Does that mean... - detailed road maps worldwide or only rough overview maps worldwide? - suitable for routes by bike, i.e. knows the bike routes and the route selects such routes? - can it be used for an unlimited period of time or during a trial period? - Does this mean in practice that I have to buy detailed maps as well? (wouldn't be a big deal, I just want to know) Also on garmin.ch nothing can be found about the scope of delivery in terms of maps, but only about maps that I can buy in addition. My Edge started flickering with the display and the touchscreen also stopped working. I can't start it up at the moment either. Is this problem known to anyone else?
