The spool has a diameter of 200mm and a width of 65mm. 200mm diameter seems to be standard for 1kg filament. The width is rather narrow compared to other manufacturers. I have spools up to 80mm wide.
try setting the temperature to 210 degrees and then you can still do fine tuning + - 5 degrees. I have a different printer, but at 200 degrees it had a bit of trouble at 210 and it worked fine.
If you are printing with a widening adapter or have an external spool holder, then you can use it, but there is never room for it directly in the printer because the reel is larger than the size of your print bed...
Scroll down to "Downloads". There is a safety data sheet to download. It doesn't say anything about food-safe certification. However, it does say that you should drink a glass of water after swallowing. The German website of Flashforge only says "Properties of PETG: Food-safe", but also nothing about a certification. In general, you should not use printed parts for food for a long time, because bacteria or fungi can grow between the layers. But for short term use no problem. PLA and PETG usually have no additives that are not food-safe. Otherwise you can seal any material with Expxy. But you have to make sure that the epoxy is food-safe. The PETG from Extrudr is "FDA compliant".
The same one, it burned the nozzle, I'm good to change it. The plastic has caked around it and burned, so it can't be printed.
This is an offer from an external provider (JACOB DE). Unfortunately, we have no influence on the pricing in this case.
For example, the "Exact colour designation" says transparent green. I also had to search at the beginning.
200 mm
Good question. It's best to buy 1 kg, I haven't regretted it. Super quality at an unbeatable price. I will only buy PLA from FlashForge.
Unfortunately, we do not offer this.
