Yes, of course! Of course it's possible. Just via Bluetooth if you don't like cables. Otherwise just use the cable. I don't see why you would need an adapter. But that is clearly possible.

Is this thing really suitable for up to how many ohms? My beyerdynamic DT-1990 PRO run at 250Ω so I would like to know if it is worth buying the Q5 :) Elsewhere I read that with the 3.5mm jack max 150Ω is recommended. Many thanks in advance

That is correct. The balanced 2.5mm headphone output handles impedances of 16-300 ohms, whereas with the normal 3.5mm headphone output you are limited to 16-150 ohms.

If you have connected the FiiO Q5 to your smartphone, can you still connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth and make phone calls or adjust the volume using a remote control?

No. Q5 does not support a microphone. You cannot use Q5 from Bluetooth headset. You can change the volume directly from Q5, as Q5 operates from DAC. Fg.
