A 2-pole power supply unit is included, which is plugged directly into the power strip. In my case, it is no wider than one slot and does not block any other sockets.

Yes, I also bought this eARC switch because my Samsung TV doesn't support Atmos. I use an AppleTV 4k 3rd gen as my streaming box. In the Sonos app, you can see which audio format arrives at the ARC. Important: use high-quality HDMI cables, otherwise the bandwidth will not be sufficient and the audio will be reduced to 2CH.

According to my research, the difference lies in the last point of the description: "Suitable for soundbar or AV receiver with HDMI eARC connection (e.g. Sonos Arc, JBL Bar 9.1), also optimal for Apple TV 4K, Xbox One S/X, Nintendo Switch for uncompressed audio". For 18218329: "Suitable for soundbar or AV receiver with HDMI-ARC eARC connection (no Dolby Atmos with AppleTV4K or Xbox as feed player, please use VAX04101 for this)."

The offer does not come from Digitec itself but from the third-party provider Long Island GmbH CH. https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/articles/360012370979-angebote-von-drittanbietern The pricing of these products generally attracts negative attention on the Digitec/Galaxus sales platform. https://www.digitec.ch/de/tag/showdiscussion/long-island-gmbh-digitecgalaxus-so-geht-es-nicht-weiter-20931 It's OK for Digitec, you don't have to buy it and they earn money from sales.
