You can simply buy the original "Fairphone Dual-port Charger". This supports 30W charging with usb c. Fairphone Dual-port Charger (EU) (30 W) You would then only need a USB C to C cable that supports this, but most cables should support this.

I am also wondering at the moment. I was notified twice of a delay, currently for 21 September. According to the information on the item, however, the devices are in stock and if I order today, it will be delivered tomorrow. Somewhere the details are not correct (either the delay for my order or the details for the item today).

I found this article on the official Fairphone forums: https://support.fairphone.com/hc/en-us/articles/9839096704913-Charge-your-Fairphone#h_01G9YPPXBS2D0P15XZF8QAE4GY 9V 3A is recommended by Fairphone, the standard is Fastcharge 4.0 from Qualcomm, and that goes from 5V to 20V... In the forum post, some users report that it charges VERY slowly (6+ days) when switched off with a 1A (probably 5V) charger. It's a big battery, and it certainly needs a minimum of amps to charge it... I had to research the physics behind this, but a 5Volt 1Amp charger is probably not enough. What about the PC/laptop? Many modern devices have 5V 2A ports for charging other devices...

Hello, I've switched from the iPhone 6 to the Fairphone 5. Of course it's bigger, I already thought the iPhone 6 was too big compared to the 4 ^^'. In the end, it doesn't bother me any more, the most annoying thing is using it with one hand to click in a corner (there's a "One-handed mode" option that reduces the screen size if necessary). On the other hand, given its size, I'm more likely to use it instead of a tablet or even a computer to watch videos or surf the web.

Hi I'm also looking for batteries for the Fairphone 5 on a weekly basis - but for a different reason, I just want to have a backup battery. Fairphone itself doesn't offer any on their website yet. I think they will only become available once most of the smartphones have been sold. Although the Fairphone easily lasts a day - I always have at least 50% left in the evening - I want to be able to fall back on a second battery. Regarding your problem: I would return the Fairphone as a warranty claim. It hardly seems to be a battery problem. You still have a long warranty and should make use of it. I hope you enjoy your new Fairphone

First of all: I have no similar problems with the device. There is a detailed article on the topic in the Fairphone user forum: https://forum.fairphone.com/t/a-little-guide-to-random-reboots/36159 The recommendations there are probably the same as the list you received from support. Precisely because you had the problem from the start, I would exchange the device if I were you. There is a lot to suggest that you have got a mechanically faulty device. This is annoying, but in my opinion, further tinkering will only prolong the trouble. I hope you get a new device quickly and are as happy with it as I am.
Hi Crisella The business idea of Fairphone is sustainability. Therefore: no. A charging cable or mains adapter is not included, as you probably already have both. The connections are standardised. You need a cable with a USB-C connection. If you don't have one, you can order one from Digitec.

The first 2 years are handled by digitec (legally prescribed warranty period). The extension for a further 3 years is offered directly by Fairphone. To do this, you have to register your device with Fairphone and then receive confirmation of the warranty period. This was already the case with the FP4.
