Hello, I also have an office desk with a metal bar underneath. I simply reversed the lower angle to gain even more distance to clamp. It worked like this and now I have a good 8cm to clamp. I've mounted 27 inchers twice and they've been lifting wonderfully for about 2 years. Here is a photo. https://tinyurl.com/y9al293e
I was able to carry out a search and unfortunately could not find any mounting kits for the desired C-clamp for the American market. The manufacturer may be able to send such a kit directly, in which case I would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly.
Hello, the centre of the monitor can easily be adjusted to 50cm (or even 60cm) with this arm, that's no problem. As you can see in the photo, the arm is attached to the back of the monitor using a VESA mount. If the monitor has one of these, you don't really need an additional mount.
The price should be exactly the same, as the prices of both shops come from the same system. By now it should be correct, at least according to our test just now.
Hello, I can tell you the following. We source our products from different suppliers to ensure availability as far as possible. As soon as a supplier does not have the item in stock, we switch to a supplier with higher availability. Each supplier offers different prices, so there may be price differences. There can be various reasons for this, such as higher purchase prices for smaller quantities or additional import costs. We therefore work with daily prices.
In my case, the arm came with the wing nut table clamp as shown here: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/ergotron-lx-monitor-arm-mit-patentierter-cf-technologie-tisch-34-monitor-halterung-10892996#fullscreen=show
According to ergotron the arm is loadable with 3.2-11.3kg: https://www.ergotron.com/de-de/produkte/produktdetails/45-241#?farbe=Schwarz&attachment%20option=2-Piece%20Clamp
According to Google your monitor is 7kg without stand but needs a VESA adapter? I assume it fits with the adapter, but all without guarantee.
It looks to me like Wacom has a special mount and not a Vesa mount.
This display mount works with the standard Vesa mount.
For your setup to work you would need something like this in addition:
Wacom VESA Mount for Cintiq 24 & 32
Finally, you need to add the weight of the display and the additional mount. If this is totally under the described maximum load, everything should work! :)
Picture one doesn't show any real mounting mechanisme, but the product ship with two of them. The fist one is the clamp which goes around the surface, so you can clamp it to any flat surface without the need of drilling holes. The second one is just a big screw that goes trough the surface. You can see both in the page 2 of the manual avalaible in the download section of this product page
Amazon Basics products have nothing to do with Ergotron, not even a licence, as far as I know. Amazon Basics likes to copy other products (there are many examples) in order to generate more sales (of course). Qualitatively, the two monitor arms are very similar, the only real difference is the accessories (e.g. another monitor arm), which are only available from Ergotron.
