The printer supports duplex printing and can handle paper sizes up to A4, but it is not explicitly stated whether it supports 200 gsm cardboard. Generally, inkjet printers such as this one can print on cardboard up to a certain thickness, but for 200 g/m² it is advisable to check in the manual or in the print settings whether a thick paper or cardboard type can be selected and make a test print.
The duplex printing function is present, so double-sided printing is supported, but cardboard handling often depends on the tray capacity and paper path, which is not detailed for this model.
In summary, double-sided printing is possible, but for 200gsm card stock you need to set the paper type correctly in the print properties and check compatibility via practice tests or by consulting the Epson manual specific to this model.
The printer can print on transfer paper, but is not specifically designed for this use; for best results, it is advisable to use suitable transfer paper and set the paper type correctly in the printer driver. In addition, it is possible to convert this printer into a dye-sublimation printer by using specific dye-sublimation inks, which allows you to print on dye-sublimation paper for transfers onto textiles and other materials.
Yes, the Epson EcoTank ET-2856 can be used to print vinyl stickers. Here are some important points to bear in mind:
- The printer supports printing on various paper sizes and types, including specialised print media such as vinyl sticker paper.
- It is advisable to adjust specific print settings to achieve the best quality. For example, you can set the print quality to the highest setting and ensure that the high-speed option is disabled to get the best results.
- Using the Epson Smart Panel app can also be helpful to control the printing process and create specific print profiles for vinyl stickers.
These customisations allow the printer to be used effectively for the production of vinyl stickers.
i had problems with the nozzles... i don't know if it was from the beginning... i made the mistake and only printed b/w in the beginning (because i only needed those... then after many months coloured and then yellow didn't work... started cleaning... then more nozzles spun... in the end i had to do the power cleaning (https://download4.epson.biz/sec_pubs...) unfortunately it uses a lot of ink "This function affects the life of the ink pads.If you perform this function, the ink pad capacity will be exhausted earlier.when the ink pads reach the end of their service life, contact Epson customer service to replace them."
