Does the device really have an Ethernet connection? I can only see USB in the pictures. Wired networking is a requirement for us.

Our DS-6500 (bought in 2015) only has USB. The manual says something about an optional network module, but I don't know if this is available to buy. The DS-6500N has a built-in Ethernet connection, but is also 50% more expensive, which in my opinion is overpaying.

The information in the data sheet is contradictory. At one point it says integrated network interface module, at another it says optionally available network interface module. Which is correct and what does the network interface module cost?

Can the USB and LAN connections be used at the same time? E.g. one employee scans directly to PC, the others scan to e-mail.

As soon as a USB connection is used, the unit can no longer be accessed via the network. Accordingly, it unfortunately only works with one type of connection.
