The tube is quite long - can't say right now exactly, but let's say around 2m when extended. However, it ends without any parts to fix to the window. If you want to let it out through the window, you have to buy those extra parts. I can confirm that the insulation is poor, but it is probably the best you can do with a window. There is another option, if you can make a fix hole anywhere, with a solid fixture. Say chimney or something like that might just do the trick. I am considering ditching the window setup and to switch everything to a chimney.

In my opinion (without really being able to compare), the unit is quite quiet - comparable to a fan. Sleeping on the medium cooling level is fine - which of course depends on how you feel.

Yes, this is normal because the plug connection cannot be 100% tight (this is the case everywhere). Simply seal additionally with an adhesive tape if necessary.

I don't think anybody can answer that because most people don't have both products. However, I assume, based on its name, that the Pro Silence is less noisy than the Pro Gold, and that must be the reason why it's more expensive. It is also a newer model because I've had the Pro Gold for 3 years, and I have never seen the Pro Silence before. Anyway, if you want to save money, the Pro Gold is probably a good choice. It is silent enough even for sleeping, and it consumes very little energy. My electricity bills are the same as before I bought it.

Unfortunately Galaxus does not allow uploads. :-( The back has the air hose outlet, the mains cable, water drain, hose connection for water (only needed when dehumidifying air), and a few international power sockets (what for?). There are also the filters (which have to be cleaned from time to time).

The compressor only works as long as the unit thinks it needs it to cool down. 23 and 21 degrees are not exactly a big difference, especially since I assume that the meter and the air conditioner are not from the same manufacturer and therefore there might be a deviation. I would recommend a slightly lower target temperature if you want it to always be cooled with the compressor. It is also important that you set Cool and not Auto (if you have not already done so). It is best to try out all modes and target temperatures to find the one that suits you best.

No, this is not necessary. The supplied hose for the condensation water is only needed in dehumidification mode. Then, however, be sure to direct it into a large kettle (min. 5 litres) when it dehumidifies through the night, the unit is very effective. Have two of them, and am very happy with the cooling function and the dehumidifying function, especially after summer storms when the air is hot and humid. Would definitely buy it again!
