In any case, this does not work with Alexa in the normal way (without custom programming)....
Yes, the unit keeps the settings. I do not know of an automatic on/off timer function. Switch on/off via APP. Setup is simple.

No, you can only control the Smart Plug via the EdiPlug app. Unfortunately, there is no Homekit integration.
