I asked Swiss about the possibility of carrying a drone incl. battery in my hand luggage. battery in hand luggage. Unfortunately, I got a negative answer. The drone must be checked in as baggage. Are there any other experiences?

Helpful answer

Yes, every baggage check in the world will tell you 90% of the time that you can't take it as hand luggage, firstly because of the battery which has been making a huge media fuss lately and generally because of the drone (sharp propellers etc.) even if it is packed in a hard case. Too bad. Mmn

Here are the items that can be contained in the bag: 1x Drone, 1x Remote control, 3x Batteries, 12x Rotors, 1x Battery charger, 1x 15" Computer There are no pockets for this, so we cannot guarantee that even if you organize the bag meticulously, you will be able to fit them in.
