No, the ‘Espresso Lungo’ on the DeLonghi Dinamica isn’t the standard coffee. The machine has a separate button for the classic ‘coffee’. Espresso Lungo: A standard espresso shot, where more water is simply forced through the same coffee pod or puck. It has a smaller volume and tastes stronger, and is often slightly more bitter. Coffee (Café Crème): The standard button for a larger cup of coffee. The machine grinds and brews the coffee using a different extraction method to produce a larger, ‘Schümli’-style cup. Long / Long Coffee: Specifically with De’Longhi, a brewing process using a surge or pulse method (often involving two grinding cycles), designed to mimic the flavour of filter coffee.

No, you can’t make two normal coffees at the same time with this model. According to the instructions, the double-serve function is only intended for ristretto, espresso and espresso lungo; there’s no ‘2x’ function for normal coffee. So, if you want two cups, you’ll either have to brew them one after the other or switch to espresso or espresso lungo if you want two drinks at the same time.

Yes, there is a compartment for ground coffee at the top of the appliance. You can use it to prepare decaffeinated coffee, for example, without having to change the beans.

Yes, this model has the automatic LatteCrema system, which automatically injects milk for milk drinks such as cappuccino or latte macchiato. The integrated milk carafe produces a creamy froth at the touch of a button, with automatic rinsing.

Water is expelled when you turn it on and also a smaller amount when you turn it off (it automatically turns off after not having been used for a while). We bought it a few years ago but unless something has changed since you are unable to turn off the rinse cycles.

Maybe look at the warranty certificate or copy it and email it to the company, I think they will do a warranty extension, have had the same coffee machine for a few years and it works great for us.

No squeaking either, just the sound of the engines. The piston can be seen, when stopped, behind the water tank on the right.

According to the information provided by the product manager, it seems that the design is significantly different between the black model and the other two colours. However, the specifications should remain the same.
