Is the espresso lungo the standard coffee from this coffee machine?
No, the ‘Espresso Lungo’ on the DeLonghi Dinamica isn’t the standard coffee. The machine has a separate button for the classic ‘coffee’.
Espresso Lungo: A standard espresso shot, where more water is simply forced through the same coffee pod or puck. It has a smaller volume and tastes stronger, and is often slightly more bitter.
Coffee (Café Crème): The standard button for a larger cup of coffee. The machine grinds and brews the coffee using a different extraction method to produce a larger, ‘Schümli’-style cup.
