How can the adapter have 7.1 sound if it only has a 3.5 mm jack output?

Hello I got a surround system (Trust Tytan 5.1) for my PC, but the PC does not have a sound card. Can I use this with this sound box, or is it better to install a sound card? Thank you very much.

Does this also work if my headset has only ONE jack plug, i.e. combined mic/headphones?

Does this USB adapter work for the Samsung 55" Q7 Curved QLED TV 2017 (Q7C) where I can no longer find a 3.5mm headphone jack. I want to continue using my Sennheiser wireless headphones.

So far, compatibility is limited with Mac OS Mountain Lion, Windows Vista and 7. Unfortunately, there are no drivers for El Capitan at Delock either.
