Question for all those who have such an extension with unwinding/rewinding function. This "roll" on which the cable winds is always in the middle of the cable length or is it fixed on the plug side and I can unroll the extension side like a rolled-up water hose/ hoover cable? How does the rolling up work? Is there a button or do you have to pull the cable slightly so that it rolls up? This rewinding function is also available for the 2m/3m and 5m versions or are these only cables of the corresponding length (not visible in the pictures)? Thank you for the answers!

Hello Zilla, I bought two of these USB extension cables. They work fine as extension cables. However, my USB extension cables do not have an automatic unwind or rewind function. You have to adjust the length or roll up yourself. I hope I have provided some clarification.

I plan to connect my headset to a USB hub under the edge of the desk that goes to the PC with a 3m extension cable. Will I hear any delays with the headset?

If there is a delay, it's not because of the 3m cable, but because of the USB hub....

Is this enough to use the keyboard and mouse a little further away from the PC and is it possible to connect a multiple plug to it in order to connect both devices to one cable?

Yes, this is basically possible. At most, there is a minimal delay, the longer the cable. So for a pro gamer it's rather a bad solution, but otherwise I would say that you wouldn't notice any delay at 3m. I have even connected wireless receivers to USB extensions because the PC is at the other end of the room, for example, and I still wanted to be "wireless" and the wireless distance was not quite sufficient. Also mouse and keyboard connected to 1 receiver on 1 USB extension cable without any problems. Hope this helps.
