I'm not 100% sure, it's been a while. The enclosure above talks to PCIe SSDs via NVME. If you have a SATA SSD, it wants to talk AHCI. I mean then that would be more appropriate: Transcend SSD Conversion Kit The data for it: https://docs.rs-online.com/80c4/0900766b8171ea2a.pdf Protocol stuff: https://www.allround-pc.com/artikel/storage/2017/die-ssd-revolution-von-sata-zu-m-2-von-ahci-zu-nvme
In my opinion, yes. I have the Samsung PM961 OEM (256GB, M.2 2280) there. Compare the height.
While not a direct answer, I have had no issues using a Samsung 970 pro ( 500 GB ) or my Samsung 970 pro plus ( 1 TB ) This show as external HDD’s even on older Conputers without UEFI boot. Performance is obviously limited by the USB Interface , but it is normally 1.5 x faster than SATA connected SSD’s ( using 10 GB/s USB 3.1 )
Hi, This case support USB 3.1 GEN 2. If you plug M2 NVME in it and connect to PC on USB 3.1 Gen 2 port , you will get: 10 Gbps = 1250 MB/s = 1.25GB/s transfer speed. It is maximum speed for USB 3.1 GEN 2 standard. If you want more transfer speed you must buy Thunderbolt 3 case.
Yes, that is possible.
There's only a USB-C to USB-C cable included. You can find USB-C to USB-A cables here: https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/producttype/usb-kabel-292?pdo=1237-9577:248786|1237-9576:282441&tagIds=77-532 Yes, it's compatible.

No, unfortunately not (yet).
Yes, it is a bit expensive but it supports NVMe drives which most other enclosures do not.
