The Delock HDMI switch with item number 18685 should generally work with a PS3, as it fulfils the necessary specifications required for connection to older HDMI devices such as the PS3.
- The switch supports HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.4, which is sufficient for the PS3, which uses HDMI 1.3.
- It also supports a resolution of up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, but the PS3 only requires a resolution of up to 1280 x 720 @ 60 Hz, which is within the switch's capabilities.
- The switch also has LED indicators and a remote control, making it easy to switch between devices.
However, it is important to ensure that all HDMI cables and devices used are properly connected and compatible.
Can only say it works well with normal monitors off the back of a pc.
Think it would not be suitable for Dolby Atmos off the back of a modern OLED TV etc.
Yes for the multichannel sound that's for sure! And according to the manufacturer the box also supports hdr
I don't use this switch anymore but when it was connected to my home cinema all worked perfectly for the sound and it's dts, dolby and others.
