I mean, the USB port is just a hub for your PC (for mouse, keyboard, USB stick). I use my Macbook with a hub from Lenovo (similar to the following): https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/lenovo-mini-dock-docking-port-dockingstation-usb-hub-13389335. But there are certainly cheaper solutions.

Maybe you have to set up your system so that its resolution matches the Dell P2722H resolution (which is quite low compared to Apple products' standard: 1920 x 1080 px). See <https://support.apple.com/guide...>. But I cannot say more than that, as I do not have a Mac. I use this screen with Windows and Linux, and I am personally fine with this resolution, as I do not need more for my needs.

Yes, it works fine with USB-C, but I wouldn't recommend this screen, the resolution is lousy, 1920 x 1080 pixels is fine for a 15.6 inch notebook at most, with a 24 inch screen there will be illegible small fonts and with 27 inches, it's a pure disaster, you can't recognise small fonts as fonts, it's just pixel mud. From 27 inches, you get the best display with a 4K UHD resolution with 3840x2160 pixels (small fonts razor sharp), in a pinch 2560x1440 pixels (small fonts not perfect but still legible). My suggestion would be these models, if the price is no more than 340: Lenovo ThinkVision T27h-2L (27") 2560x1440 USB-C/HDMI/DP (Energy Class E) (2560 x 1440 Pixels, 27 ") Dell S2722DZ (2560 x 1440 Pixels, 27 ") For best results, however, I would choose a 4K UHD screen, e.g. this one: Dell P2721Q (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 27 ")
