I ordered this monitor and now own a Mac Mini M1 2020. I was looking for a USB-C to Displayport cable. Then I read that HDMI provides the better colour resolution bit by bit (better for image & film work) and realised that I already have a USB-C to HDMI 2.0 adapter. But the monitor also has a USB hub. I searched to see if HDMI / Displayport also transmits USB signals....? Then I took a closer look at the pictures of this offer and saw that USB is probably not transmitted via the HDMI/Displayport cable, because the monitor has 4 USB-A sockets and one USB-B socket. USB must therefore be wired with a seperate cable, right?

I quickly tried to connect the mobile phone to the PC via the USB on the monitor. This does not work, nor does charging.
This would mean that the monitor would have to be connected additionally. However, our monitor is connected with HDMI, so that could also be the reason.
