I bought this RAM strip for my HP ENVY - 17-r146nz laptop (slot 1 8GB) on slot 2, but it is not recognized. Can you confirm that this product is compatible with my PC? According to the information yes, but it is not detected. I still only have 8GB. Thank you in advance. Thank you in advance.

This module is not a DDR3L. Try with this module. DDR3 with L (!). L works with a lower voltage:
V7 V7128008GBS-LV (1 x 8GB, DDR3L-1600 (PC3-12800), SO-DIMM 204 pin)

You can also use this tool to see which module is already integrated (choose "ZIP english").
