Question about Corsair ValueSelect
I have upgraded my older laptop with more RAM. Unfortunately, the RAM is not recognised. Do these two components not work together?
When buying RAM, you should always be careful, especially check compatibility, Corsair RAM is especially suitable for HP laptops and Lenovo laptops.
If you can't find any data sheets on the internet, stay away from such devices. That's why I only buy either HP or Lenovo or Dell. Especially with the RAM, you should always use the same type, don't mix them.

Same here, wanted to upgrade an old HP laptop but the RAM was not recognised. It didn't even seem to be recognised together, but alone. Everything was the same except for the manufacturer and model of the RAM?
