Corsair Premium 12+4-pin 12VHPWR-600-W cable for PCIe Gen 5 with single jacket
Yes it is possible to supply the rtx 4090 oc. However, assure that you have an atx 3.0 power supply as mine is not and the pin on the psu don't match with the ones on the cable. I have the ASUS ROG Thor 1200w psu, so from ASUS it would need the Loki model.
So I also have the Corsair HX1200i PSU and this cable is connected directly to the power supply unit, not an adapter for 3x8 PCIe as you usually know it. Since I don't have one of the 4000 series from Nvidia yet, I can't tell you. But I looked up the cable on the Corsair website and it is also compatible with the HX1200i PSU up to 600 watts, so it should also work with the 4090, which is why I bought it when I buy one of the 4000 cards and it looks much better than the adapter.

Hi, the CP-8920333 cable is designed for PCIe Gen 5 graphics cards and can provide up to 600W. If your RM850 2019 can provide the required power for an RTX 5070 TI, the cable should work. Regarding the connector fusion, it is important to ensure that the connections are clean and tight to avoid overheating. Corsair has taken measures to improve the quality of its cables, but it is always advisable to check the connections regularly.
Automatically generated from the .Yes should be ok. I'm now using it with my RM850i. That's because as far as I know all Corsair offer 300W per output and are normal PCIe connectors.
No, absolutely not. This cable is intended for Corsair power supplies fitted with type 4 cables (AX, AXi, RMi, HX, HXi). It is not recommended to use this power cable on any other type of power supply.
It should without any problems, it connects directly to the GPU with the new connector to the old PSU connections. I used it for my 4090 with my corsair psu.
asus recommends 850 watts for the graphics card alone.....anyone who has a 4090 in the system probably has an aio in the system or two like ours, plus at least 4 case fans, various hard drives etc, that needs a strong power supply.....I wouldn't go below 1000 watts gold...here are more specs for the card...https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/graphics-cards/tuf-gaming/tuf-rtx4090-24g-gaming/
