Corsair Premium 12+4-pin 12VHPWR-600-W cable for PCIe Gen 5 with single jacket
Can you connect a 4090 to a Corsair HX1200i PSU with this cable, and is that enough? they say you need at least 3x8 pin PCIe for a 4090, but the cable only has 2 ?
So I also have the Corsair HX1200i PSU and this cable is connected directly to the power supply unit, not an adapter for 3x8 PCIe as you usually know it. Since I don't have one of the 4000 series from Nvidia yet, I can't tell you. But I looked up the cable on the Corsair website and it is also compatible with the HX1200i PSU up to 600 watts, so it should also work with the 4090, which is why I bought it when I buy one of the 4000 cards and it looks much better than the adapter.
