Hello, How are the fans powered? By USB-3, USB-C? My USB-C port is already used for the screen. Is it possible to power it with an independent transformer?

Hello, It is powered by standard USB. The female input on the device is a mini-USB. A mini-USB > standard USB cable is supplied with the device. So you can easily use a simple USB charger to which you plug the cable.
