The flame of the soldering lamp reaches around 730 degrees. For brazing, you need somewhere between 500 and 900 degrees. It depends on what you want to do with it. Greetings
Yes. Doesn't work as well as I had hoped. It is difficult to control/distribute the heat. I wanted a "SearZall" but gave up because I couldn't find the correct size gas canisters or adapters (US/EU/CH). I have since switched to a cast iron pan. Makes a lot more mess and smoke, but the result is better.
Yes, that's why I bought the burner. It works but the flame is almost a bit too strong for flambéing in the kitchen.
