Questions about Caso SV900 Sous Vide Garer

Hello everyone, Today I used my Caso SV900 for the first time. Is the circulation pump also so insanely loud in your house? You have to put it in the basement so that you can still live in the flat. I would appreciate an answer, or is something defective here????
