It needs the PGI-72 ink. This is available online from electronics retailers or also from specialist shops. I have also tried to print with refill ink or cheap imitators. The printer always went on strike. Before this printer, I had the previous product 2 times and was very satisfied with it. This one (mine) is a drunk. It takes an eternity until it starts printing. As for the consumption. In the past month I have printed 428 pages of manual and 2 A3 colour prints. All with the quick print setting on plain paper. I replaced a total of 8 cartridges (Fr 17.40 each). Now it is telling me that 3 of them are running out of ink.

According to my research, you have to fill every 10 tanks with the following cartridges. Please correct me if I am wrong about this. Canon PGI-72 (Y, M, C, R, MBK, Ink) Canon PGI-72 (CO, GY, PBK, PC, PM, ink)

The difference is based on the colours to be used. The 100s works with ink colours, the 10s with pigment colours. The biggest difference, as far as I know, is the longevity of the images. Pigment-based prints are supposed to last longer (not fade). Best regards!

I don't know if the printer is compatible with Capture One Pro as I don't use this programme. This 10S is now the third Canon after the Pixma 9000 and Pixma 9500. I have not had any compatibility problems with any of these printers so far. I have used the 10S with Office 365, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere as well as the ancient PSP 5.0. It has worked without any problems with all of them.

Our customers can set the selling price of their used products themselves, although this tends to be a less popular offer here if the new price is significantly lower...

The system is obviously quite well thought out. So far, the cartridges have not dried out even slightly, despite sometimes long breaks (several months). The first print after a break is just as perfect as the previous ones. How many A3 prints are possible depends on which colours are needed and to what extent. I would more or less rely on the manufacturer's specifications.

I am still using Windows 7, but a printer driver V1.0 can be downloaded from the Canon site. http://de.canon.ch/support/consumer_products/products/printers/inkjet/pixma_pro_series/pixma_pro-10s.aspx?type=drivers&language=&os=Windows%2010%20%2864-bit%29

Both feeders (automatic and manual) are located at the back. With automatic feed, however, the printer can be placed against the wall. For manual feed it needs a distance of approx. 12-15 cm.
