- Release the on/off button when the desired temperature scale is displayed.
A short beep sounds to confirm the new setting, and the thermometer

Because superbright display makes you blind so you can't see the ear well. On the back side there is no light source to make the process easier. Good looking at the day time, terribly bad design for the night. I woudn't buy again.
When I bought it, the price was 44.-, but there are other suppliers.
You have to, otherwise no measurement is possible. However, there are cheaper ones from third-party suppliers.

If you only use it in the family, buy one without disposable protective caps and clean it after use.
However, if you are looking for high hygiene, the protective caps are meant for one-time use.
You can do this like you do with toothbrushes, but the chances of them falling on the floor or getting mixed up are very high.

There is no case included. But there is a kind of plastic case where you can also store these ear tips.
That is true. But the difference makes the colour of the result. For a child older than 3 months, the fever threshold is lower than for a child younger than 3 months. That's why there are colour gradations.
The manufacturer does not indicate to do this. The thermometer is accurate and you can set the age of the child.
