This is an "input cable" and you can use your Bose headphones as a headset. Provided your Bose headphones have a 2.5mm jack input.

hello. the label is the 1:1 replacement for the original stereo cable of the q35 quietkomfort. it fits exactly. however, it is not a mono but a stereo cable.

There is no general answer to this question. With Bluetooth, it depends on the receiving and transmitting devices. Cable has a clear advantage because nothing has to be compressed or changed before it is sent to the target device.
