I don't know if it helps, but I also had problems with it at the beginning, at some point after 5 times pairing bt again and restarting the phone/headphones it worked, but I still don't know where the problem comes from. I also had a lot more trouble with my Pixel 3a XL than with my new Fairphone 4.
It depends on the model of the television. With some, a Bluetooth adapter can be connected, with others not.
