We will display the BlackBerry Priv in all our showrooms as soon as the device is available.
It is sold with a charger, a hands-free kit and a usb cable. If you are interested in this BlackBerry I advise you to watch the comparative test ( available on YouTube Myk P. ) because the Dtek60 could be interesting for you ;)
No, the weight of the Priv is mainly in the main body. On the contrary, it feels rather "foot-heavy" when the screen is closed and very balanced when the screen is open. I often use the device open even when I'm not writing.
At digitec you can buy mobile phones with Salt, Sunrise or Swisscom. The product is probably still so new that the providers' offers have not yet been communicated. As soon as this has happened, the prices will be posted here.
The keyboard layout is QWERTZ.
Yes, since the Blackberry Priv runs on Android, you don't have to worry here.
Unfortunately, we in the community cannot answer such a question. The questions, answers and discussions should explicitly refer to the products and their function. General questions about orders, delivery times or prices should be asked directly to the customer service. digitec@digitec.ch +41 44 575 95 00 Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 18:00 Please note the community guidelines: https://www.digitec.ch/de/Wiki/4490
Personally, I own a BB Priv and find the mix of full touch screen and onboard keyboard great. When I type briefly, I use the touch screen, but for emails I prefer the keyboard (just slide up and type away). It's this mix that makes it for me, but also the security features of the PRIV and the monthly patches.
The providers only support mass-produced goods. I would ask the hotline and pretend that you have a Samsung. The option "Wi-Fi calling" should appear under Settings -> More as soon as the provider activates the function. Alternatively, I would use a SIP account, then you have a different number, but you can still enjoy roaming freedom and reception in GSM radio holes when abroad.
Unfortunately, the community cannot help you with such questions. The best thing to do is to contact Digitec Galaxus directly, see https://www.digitec.ch/de/Information/ContactInformation.
Swisscom and Digitec are blaming each other. Both claim that the other sets the prices. Both companies are making a killing, which is why it will stay that way. My tip: Buy a popular device with a contract (e.g. Galaxy s7), resell it unopened (ricardo or something) and then buy the BlackBerry without a contract. In the end, it's much cheaper.
Unfortunately, we are unable to obtain the requested item for this phone.
The update to Android 6 has been available for all Priv since today. There is no need to wait for anything.
Hi. Once the unit is on display for viewing, you will see a blue logo on the front cover labelled "Show Room". When you see this logo, you can see in the product details to which branch the unit is on display. As long as the unit is not on display, viewing is unfortunately not possible. Regards
This is only the STV100-1 version. You can't buy it in Switzerland.
it's 799.- without contract.
No, because by post it comes directly from the supplier. It's marked 2-3 weeks so I think it'll be late November
Yes, the Priv runs with Android 5.1.1 when it is delivered and the update to 6.0 has already been announced. The Blackberry Hub is also available, but I can't tell you whether the integration is like Blackberry OS or whether it is more of an app.
According to digitec customer service, only unbranded devices are sold. This means that the device should be free of any compulsory restrictions imposed by the provider, despite the fact that it is purchased with a subscription discount. Regardless of the conditions under which the device is ordered.
No, it's a thing of the past this option. No idea, apart from making money with and for customers with a really old BlackBerry, why they still offer.
