Hello, it almost looks like you might have a loose contact with the adapter. Try the adapter at home and see if it happens there. If yes -> adapter gone (warranty) if no -> loose contact in the car or in the plug... Greetings

Depends on the car. If the 12V socket is dependent on the ignition and no longer supplies power when the engine is switched off, you can leave the plug plugged in without hesitation. If this is not the case, you should disconnect the adapter when not in use for a longer period of time. But I have also forgotten to do this for a week.
You can connect it to your Ipad for sure. But for Handfree, the microphone has the worst quality ever.

Hello Susan This will not work as this is a Bluetooth receiver. To listen to the music from your TV on your headphones, you need a Bluetooth transmitter that you can connect to the TV.

Yes. The usb plug is only for the power supply.
In my case, the part fitted perfectly. Compare the plug of this cable with a plug that fits into the sockets of your devices. There may be something wrong with the plug on Baseu's cable.

Hello, I use it like you in my car and it works impeccably well. - It also has a microphone and if your USB port is not too far away, it can be used as a "hands free kit". - It is also very good as a "multimedia" because it amplifies the bass. I have coupled the adapter with a mobile phone and a notebook: the last active device is always "switched through", which works perfectly. This should therefore also work with 2 mobile phones ... Good luck!
