I don't quite understand your question, because this is also an HDMI switch. Do you perhaps mean a splitter? There is a lot to consider with HDMI and this part is quite simply built and probably not for all frequencies and resolutions. For me, it very rarely messes with the keyboard and I have to switch back and forth (possibly because I have sent a command of some kind). I use the CS692 to connect the 27" HD screen including mouse and keyboard from two computers (business/private). I'm quite happy with it, except that the cables could be a bit longer.
Yes, I have, but it's slow. But what I have is not a great brand. Maybe that is the reason.
Thank you for your feedback, I have already forwarded this to our purchasing department. If you no longer need the product, you can register it for return via the customer account. :)
Yes, it works. I have a laptop and a desktop with the Aten CS692 in operation. I can operate the laptop via the KVM even without HDMI connected.
I have no experience with this switch and the Raspberry Pi. As a tip, I only have a firmware upgrade of the switch as an idea, maybe it will help. The instructions for this can be found in the switch manual.
