Aten Cs1794
I use this without problems with a UHD 2160p monitor. That is, a 4K screen. I am very satisfied with the product, but I do not use all the features, especially in the audio area, for the connection with a headset on the CS1794, I had problems to achieve the desired result. However, it was not that important to me and I certainly did not try out everything. Audio playback with the screen works without any problems.
Good day Yes, the 4 KVM cables are included in the scope of delivery! Kind regards
Yes, it is included. Contents of the package: 1x CS1794 KVMP™ HDMI USB 2.0 switch 4x 2L-7D02UH HDMI KVM cable set 1x LIN5-04A2-J13G firmware upgrade cable 1x 0AD6-1605-24EG power adapter 1x user manual These are the cables here (4x already included if any): Aten 2L-7D02UH: USB-HDMI-KVM-Kabel 1.8M
The supplied cables are long enough. They are a bit bulky because HDMI, USB and 2x 3.5mm jacks are designed like a ribbon cable. The KVM switch is unfortunately not near me, but the cables are at least a metre long if not 1.5 m. So far we have had no problems with connected displays and from PC, Mac mini and Raspberry.
Hello mvbueren, yes, the sound is also transmitted perfectly. If the screen or TV has no speakers, you can route the sound to a speaker system via a click cable. If you route the sound from the graphics card of a PC to the HDMI, you must make sure that the SPDIF connection of the graphics card is connected to the sound card so that the sound is reproduced. The SPDIF cable is usually supplied with the graphics card. If the sound card integrated in the mainboard is used, the SPDIF cable must be connected to the board so that the sound is reproduced. Furthermore, the digital audio of the graphics card must be selected as the source on the PC so that the sound can be heard. The CS1794 can also pass on the audio in analogue form via a jack cable if the PC configuration does not permit digital output. I can only recommend the CS1794! In my configuration, the sound works perfectly via HDMI over a QNAP NAS TVS-EC1080+, a MAC Book Pro Retina 15" and the Windows PC. Greetings
