This device is outdated. I would advise you not to buy it. You definitely can't connect a console to it because it only has a USB-C port.
Works flawlessly with my MacBook Pro 2019 without any installations of any software. Greetings
Unfortunately no.
It's not a tablet, it's a monitor and therefore it's meant to connect to a PC as a secondary display. Fortunately, otherwise it would be useless!
Hello Jelkomme No, the display does not have a stylus. It only comes with a biro that you can use as a stand aid. The ZenScreen MB16AMT has a "touchscreen" (10-point touch) but this is also without a stylus. Unfortunately, I don't currently know of any product that has a stylus AND is portable.
In principle, the connection is possible, you can use a USB-C to HDMI cable - but since the ASUS M816P does not support DIsplay audio, you will have a picture but no sound.... I have a dual ASUS PB287Q with HDMI KVM in my home office and as soon as I switch on the Swisscom box, the box grabs the DIsplay incl. display audio - but the sound is rather "modest".
No. A computer/smartphone is required, which can also provide a video signal.
Probably yes. It works with my Samsung S8+. This screen has its own battery which is essential to work with smartphones, otherwise it drains too much.
For the connection with USB Type A, you will have to download the following driver package from Asus: https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/MB16AP/HelpDesk_Download/
No. The Switch can only be connected to a monitor via a dock and HDMI connection.
I bought this model and can confirm that a battery is installed.
I think so, if the tablet has a USB-C port. You simply need to install a driver from the Asus support site. Displylinktreiberapp --> APK file and install it via sideload on the tablet. This worked for me with the Sony Xperia XZ2 and the Razer Phone.
