ASUS Tinker Board
Questions about Tinker Board
What's your question to the Community?
Does the board also fit into a Raspberry Pi case or does it have different dimensions than the Pies?
Hello larschuerch
The Tinker board has the same size as well as the same connector layout as the Raspberry Pi. Therefore, the Pi enclosures are compatible with the board.
Any charger can be used. The same connections can be used.
Therefore yes.
However, depending on the load, I would use a somewhat stronger power supply unit.
Every ARM-based operating system runs on it.
Theoretically, Windows 8 / 8.1 RTM would run on it.... If there was a setup.
The normal desktop Windows that you run from your home PC or work PC will not work here. This is a so-called IA-32 (x86 / x64) processor.

Hope to be able to help you so far.
Kind regards
You can find a lot of material on this topic on Google. "Theoretically, any 5V, 2A USB power supply will work. However, there are big differences in the quality of such power supplies, and the ASUS Tinker Board - just like the Raspberry Pi 3 - may not run stably with particularly bad devices.
By the way: The 3x USB power supply KOPPLA from IKEA (10 Stutz) is of good quality, a little insider tip ;)
Yes, you can use it for 24/7 operation.
