Hi Anonymous, I don't remember removing any sealant or Asus adhesive. I didn't find any traces of glue or sealant on the packaging either. I mean, there was no sealant. The board runs and functions perfectly and without any problems.

Yes, the i5 14600K can be used. On the page of this link https://rog.asus.com/ch-de/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z790-h-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_qvl_cpu/ lists all CPUs that can be used on the ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WIFI motherboard.

Hello Andresuco. It probably doesn't need an update. But it doesn't matter whether you pay attention to the message regarding the bios update or not. I have updated the bios on my board after commissioning - and I recommend you do the same. Have fun with your new build! :-D

Do I have to update the BIOS here?

Helpful answer

Hi Devid, it is not absolutely necessary if there are no compatibility or stability problems. My problem was that no network driver was found (BIOS update did nothing). I had to install the driver during the Windows installation. Maybe the problem would not have happened with a more recent Windows 11 version.
