Isn't the point of a set that the price for both items is less than buying them separately? Because I think 899 + 899 is 1798 and not 1829 so it's cheaper for me to buy them separately.

Right. Sometimes I don't understand that either. I've seen it with various bundles. If employees REALLY put this in, I have to ask myself: 1)Are they taking the piss out of the community who are too lazy to look for both items and add up the prices? 2)or employees who should be provided with a calculator ?

I own an Asus ROG CG8580 PC that is about 4 years old and now has a Geforce GTX680 installed. Is it possible to change to ASUS ROG Gaming Set PG348Q and GTX1080 Ti (34", 3440x1440)?

Basically possible, is the Cpu an i7 3770k? You just have to consider the power supply (600W) and the size (29.8x13.4x5.25). You may have to buy a new power supply.
