Can all movements be locked?

The mount is not completely lockable. The integrated gas lift technology allows the monitor to be pulled up and pushed away smoothly and also allows vertical freedom of movement, but it cannot be fixed rigidly but can be adjusted in height with an Allen screw. By means of Allen screws, the joints can be tightened slightly so that the monitor has a smooth adjustment.

Helpful answer

The arm of the Arctic W1-3D monitor mount cannot be easily detached from the wall plate and reattached without disassembling the entire mount. The mount is designed to be permanently attached to the wall and there is no function that allows the arm to be removed without disassembling the wall plate. If you want to remove the monitor regularly, this may not be the best option for your needs.

It is important that the bracket is mounted vertically. Otherwise the function is limited. For example, the horizontal swivel has too little resistance to hold the monitor in position if this swivel axis is not aligned horizontally. That is, it will move in the left-right direction like a pendulum to the lowest point. To mount the monitor correctly on a sloping wall, a wedge would be needed to compensate for the slope.

Yes, the height can be adjusted at any time. Just remember that changing the height also changes the distance between the monitor and the wall (if the arm is extended). The distance between the back of the monitor and the wall is maximum 60 cm.

If the question, in relation to the wall mount (drill hole) this is aligned with the centre of the screen when the arm is centred? Then yes it is possible, but only if the bracket is fixed much lower or higher than the screen, so as to form a more open (isosceles) triangle. In the case where the screen mount is almost horizontal, there is an offset from the centre of about 15cm.
