Question about Arctic W1-3d

If you place the arm above the mounting plate (on the wall), you can place your monitor very close to the wall. However, you are limited in vertical movement by the mounting plate. In other words, you can only lower your monitor until the two arms are on top of each other. That is all. If you leave the arm completely open, so that the two arms are not on top of each other, then the monitor can also be moved to the wall, but it simply needs space on the wall. In both cases, the distance to the wall is only the thickness of the arm plus a few centimetres from the monitor mount PLUS the depth of your monitor!
