Apple Studio Display Standard
Apple Studio Display Standard
It was exactly the same for me. Display with Schuko plug. The problem is that the power cables are permanently installed in the Studio Display. The only solution is to use an adapter. Or how I did it: Complain and send it back.
somehow can I also tell by the manufacturer's number ( MK0U3D/A) this is a swiss or german version??
Last week I received a German version, the adapter is included!
I was supplied with a CH cable. However, this does not mean that this is always the case. I have also received goods with the adapter although it was not written. ZYXEL, for example, should actually be a CH product with a CH cable.
"Slight signs of use" usually means that the original packaging has been removed and there are no visual defects. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any photos.

Yes, that is correct. The Apple Studio Display Standard (5120 x 2880 pixels, 27") does not have an HDMI port. It has a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port and three other USB-C ports, but no HDMI connection.
Automatically generated from the .The product is shipped with an EU plug and free fixed adapter. This is noted in the specifications under "May come with a power adapter".
Got 2x on this adapter: Ergotron LX monitor arm with patented CF technology (table, 27") Didn't need anything else...
that's not a problem at all, I also have an Apple MacBook and even 2 Studio's connected, note that with each one separately with a thunderbolt 4, bandwidth. Thunderbolt 4 ports have a bidirectional bandwidth of 40 Gbps (gigabits per second). This means that data can be quickly moved to and from external data storage, and that connecting up to five Thunderbolt devices allows for flexible device configurations - all through one port.
The article 19987123 is the German variant with EU plug and the article 19818105 is the Swiss variant with CH plug. Other than that, they share the same specs.
Monitors need to be calibrated so that you can work with reasonably accurate colours. The Spyder from Datacolor, for example, helps with this.
I got a new appliance with a German plug and adapter for Swiss sockets for around 1,475.
Hello Cyrill. I have an Apple Studio Display Tiltable. There are 3 types. Height-adjustable (the base is already attached), or just tiltable (base also already attached), and wall mount (also already attached). Depending on the model you order, you will receive the appropriate model. However, the wall bracket model does not include a stand as it is mounted on the wall.
Power cable and Thunderbolt cable are included. If it is an EU plug, a CH adapter is also included.
Don't hesitate to add the item to a wish list: you will automatically be notified by e-mail if there is a price reduction. (:
Yep, that happened to me too. But later I found the word "Vesa" somewhere in the description. Mistakes are inevitable if it's not mentioned more clearly!
I didn't need an adapter
Hi, unfortunately I can't answer the question because I have the same problem; I have to eject the external HDs individually to prevent them from continuing to run in sleep mode. Thanks for the question! BP
Hello Marco. Display came with an adapter as it is an EU plug. If you use it, you won't even notice that it is an EU model. It also works perfectly. The screen is also tiltable. Not height-adjustable but tiltable. LG René
The plug is equipped with a Swiss standard plug attachment.
Problem is relative, but I had the same scenario and solved it with the Mac app "AlDente". This prevents charging beyond a set percentage. Then the Macbook uses the mains power permanently at e.g. 70%.
May I be sarcastic? Hopefully a connection that fits the CH mains! With my model, the mains cable was supplied in EU standard and because the mains cable is fixed to the monitor, the face first became longer and longer, even the supplied mains cable with C13/T12 plug was not really helpful...The solution is relatively simple, a plug-in adapter from EU to CH standard. It would be nice if this was included in the price difference of 19.-- ;-)
No with an adapter on the socket
dear stef. as rene has already described, it is best to use the supplied usb-c cable. if there is a thunderbolt to usb-c cable, try it (this connection offers the higher throughput). but now comes the big BUT: the macbook air 2017 with the intel-grafik 6000 delivers a resolution of 1440x900 at best. I had the same problem with my macbook from 2017 - weak graphics and too little resolution: it was no fun. CONCLUSION: treat yourself to a newer macbook air or pro with m1 or m2 and retina display with the appropriate graphics (you can find interesting used ones online) and you will see: you will enjoy it! have fun, andi.

If the laptop has a USB-C output (not VGA) which is used for video transmission, then it works. The Apple screen only accepts USB-C. I also tried it with a docking station, but it was not successful. And if the laptop had a VGA output on USB-C, this didn't work at all. In short: USB-C to USB-C works.
