Same here! Ordered on 9.9. at 14:10 - current delivery date 03.11. - is getting further back every day. Ordered from Apple yesterday Expected delivery date 30.10. - 8.11.
If this arrives from Apple before digitec, Digitec is officially history for me. It simply can't be, I suspect that the entire management simply said they needed one and that they would give us customers priority.
I now also have the end of October, unbelievable! Ordered within the first minutes... Digitec doesn't seem to care, because there was no reaction or communication until now... : (
Then Digitec probably didn't get enough devices... Maybe it will change back or you will actually get it on 1.10. because you ordered early.
The demand for new iPhones is always very high - the chip crisis has not helped.
I've been waiting half a year for certain products... they don't even have a chip in them ;-)
Hello Mattia
I bought the same model here. You can just call Apple Support or bring it by. You don't need a bill for that. My devices work without any problems. :)
As far as I know, there is no SIM lock. As long as you don't give it away to China (where mobiles are regulated differently and Apple offers a special version), the whole thing should basically work. However, different countries have different radio frequencies (5G, WLAN etc). And the warranty, etc., probably also goes down the drain. Personally, I wouldn't risk that with such an expensive device.
The black model is also available here at the corresponding price: Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max (512 GB, Space Black, 6.70", SIM + eSIM, 48 Mpx, 5G) However, as this is not currently available through us, the available offer in this case marketplace offer is automatically displayed.
My delivery date has also been postponed to mid-October, although yesterday it still said that I could pick it up today. Ordered right at the beginning of the order release on 09.09.2.2022.
It's very annoying that they don't store the quantity in the system a week in advance and openly inform the customers that they will certainly receive a unit at the market launch even if they order right at the time of order release... Also questionable for me is whether the units are served according to the "first come, first served" principle. It would be best if this were also noted.
According to digitec support, the supplier is responsible for entering the quantities and delivery dates. In my opinion, digitec needs to talk to the supplier and change this situation for the benefit of customer satisfaction. digitec should have the appropriate market position to bring about a positive change even with weighty suppliers.
This means that the quantities must already be entered at the time of the pre-order and it must be ensured that the orders that were placed first are also delivered first. This should also be clearly communicated to us customers, because other shops can do this too.
So if a customer wants to order the iPhone one day after the order has been released, he would see that he will not receive it until mid-October and can decide to order from another shop if necessary.
Please play your cards close to your chest digitec, customer satisfaction will thank you!
Unfortunately, we have to state our delivery dates in the webshop without guarantee. Especially for those products that are not available from our own central warehouse and/or are shipped directly by suppliers, we are heavily dependent on the information provided by our many national and international suppliers. They have the possibility to update delivery dates independently, so that the information given is always up to date without any loss of time. This means that it can change quickly at short notice and also individually for articles that are in demand.
Now I have to wait a month for the phone I bought right after launch. They are also no longer available from the competition. The fact that Galaxus/Digitec still displayed "delivery 16.9" until the last moment borders on a joke, one should almost take legal action. A whole (!) month later, because of the greed and incompetence of Galaxus/Digitec. I'm going to delete my account, order no more here and recommend the same to all my friends. In Switzerland, this is a disgrace, shame on you!
Hello Sbdix
I ordered my device in the middle of September...at that time the delivery date was 3-4 weeks. Shortly after ordering, the delivery date was pushed back by 1 day every day and this went on for 3 weeks. I got the device shortly before December, so over 1 month later than stated. I understand you too well. The date is simply given across the board so that people order from you. I also find this weak from Digitec and a customer rip-off. From one day to the next it said delivery on the next day...while a day before it was supposed to be 17 December.
Tip
Don't cancel but wait, it can suddenly happen quickly - no one knows in this chaos.
