You're right, of course, that these devices don't get as many years of updates as newer models.
Photos and videos can be seen in Windows Explorer without any problems. Other files cannot. As far as I know, synchronisation (audio, photos, videos, etc.) with Windows works via the iTunes software.
I.e. this unit is on display in digitec showrooms, see with the product under "Showroom - This product is on display in the following branches".

My device was without a SIM lock. I currently use it with 2 SIM cards. One physical SIM and one e-SIM with another provider.

As mentioned in the description, the product includes the iPhone, the manual and a Lightning cable.
Scope of delivery:
Documentation, USB-C to Lightning cable
Unfortunately, since the 12th release, there is no longer a power supply included.
