Product details
The Dr. HDMI 4K can resolve most HDMI issues related to handshake, compatibility, and/or EDID. It offers the ability to keep a source "always on" or to set it to a desired, predefined state, which is particularly useful for system integrators. Dr. HDMI 4K can also enhance signal integrity and extend or improve the +5V signal in an HDMI/DVI-D chain, for example, for active HDMI cables. It can work in conjunction with other HDFury products to expand overall compatibility. Additionally, it can be used to limit the resolution of the AV source. Dr. HDMI 4K functions as an EDID manager, HDMI/DVI-D emulator, and repeater/signal amplifier, equipped with predefined presets as well as user-programmable EDID banks, an EDID bank with learning function, compatible HTPC mode, and many other features. Doctor HDMI 4K resolves most HDCP/HDMI issues by simply connecting between the source and display. Once connected, it can be configured to perform specific EDID and hot-plug events. This device also features internal logic to support HDCP streams by recognizing all DDC packets and filtering the EDID requests while passing through all HDCP handshakes. The PC software can be used to edit any of the parameters spontaneously or to load and save custom EDIDs. Power is supplied either directly through the HDMI connection or via USB if connected. Firmware upgrades can be automatically sent with a single .exe file, eliminating the need for additional software.
