Purefil PMMA filament

The Purefil Refill Packs contain wound filament that is delivered without a spool. This product allows you to refill the Purefil plastic spools with new filament, eliminating the need to dispose of the empty spool and conserving resources. By using high-quality raw materials, a 3D printer filament is created that is particularly easy to process. A state-of-the-art manufacturing process achieves very low production tolerances, resulting in impressive printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each refill pack is sealed in a high-quality bag.

PMMA is an amorphous, thermoplastic plastic known for its transparency, brilliance, and scratch resistance. PMMA is often used as a lightweight alternative to glass and is therefore also referred to as acrylic glass. Compared to PC, PMMA offers better UV resistance, higher transparency, and is significantly more scratch-resistant. Due to its excellent resistance to weather influences, UV radiation, and aging, PMMA is well-suited for outdoor applications. PMMA has good electrical insulating properties and is frequently used for enclosures in the electronics sector. PMMA is sensitive to stress cracking, so printed parts should not be cleaned with alcohol or solvents.
