Purefil PLA filaments for 3D pen 20x5m different colors

This filament set contains 20 beautiful colors for use in all 3D printing pens with a diameter of 1.75 mm. The use of high-quality raw materials creates a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to process. A state-of-the-art manufacturing process achieves very low manufacturing tolerances, leading to impressive printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each spool is sealed in a high-quality bag.

Made in Switzerland, this filament features low diameter and roundness tolerances and is easy to print. Polyactid is a polymer that consists of lactic acid molecules, among other components. We currently offer PLA filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm. A heated bed is advantageous for PLA filament, but not absolutely necessary. We recommend using an air cooler when processing PLA filament. Additionally, PLA has much more pleasant odor properties than other plastics during processing.

The temperature at which PLA begins to soften is relatively low; even at high temperatures in summer, PLA parts can deform. PLA as a raw material is biodegradable under special conditions. However, the end product contains pigments and additives, so PLA parts must be disposed of in the trash and not in the garden. This filament meets the composition requirements of European Regulation No. 10/2011 on plastic materials for contact with food.

PLA filament, or polylactide, is basically biodegradable, although certain environmental conditions are required for this, which can usually only be found in industrial composting plants. PLA does not normally decompose in nature, so we do not recommend composting PLA filament or printed parts made from PLA.
