Purefil PA12 CF15 filament

By using high-quality raw materials, a 3D printer filament is created that is particularly easy to process. A state-of-the-art manufacturing process achieves very low production tolerances, resulting in impressive printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each spool is sealed in a high-quality bag.

Our PA12 CF is an amorphous thermoplastic with a 15% carbon fiber content, which significantly increases stiffness. Since PA12 is the polyamide type with the lowest water absorption, the material is ideally suited for humid environments where high impact resistance, good sliding properties, and excellent wear resistance are required. PA12 CF15 is antistatic.

The carbon fiber reinforcement also increases the material's heat resistance. Another positive effect is that the filament is even easier to print than unreinforced PA12. Increased wear in the print nozzle should be noted and can be minimized by using hardened steel nozzles.
