Product details

Kerfil filaments are made from a ceramic powder and a thermoplastic binder system. They are flexible and can be processed with all common FDM 3D printers. To obtain a pure ceramic part, the printed pieces (green parts) must undergo debinding and sintering. In the first debinding step, the binder material is dissolved using acetone. In a further step, the thermal debinding of the remaining binder material takes place. This is followed by sintering at approximately 1500°C. In the end, a fully functional ceramic component is created with a density of up to 99%. For more information on processing, debinding, and sintering of the molded parts, please refer to the technical data sheet. - Extremely high hardness - Heat resistance well above 1000°C - Fully functional ceramic parts - very low wear - low coefficient of expansion - corrosion resistant - very good biocompatibility.
